Original mid-century music box by the renowned Swiss maker Thorens, featuring the classic tune "Anniversary Waltz." The Thorens movement is marked "Made in Switzerland" and plays clearly and smoothly.
The music box is housed in its original burgundy leatherette presentation box with gilt decoration. The exterior shows honest age-appropriate wear along the edges and corners, consistent with decades of careful ownership.
Notably, the original winding key is still present and remains in its original wax envelope inside the box, a wonderful and uncommon survival detail that collectors appreciate.
